After 4 weeks abroad it is good to be back home watching real football
the Civil War demands more than an everyday libation... time to break out a bottle of Glenlivet that somehow managed to hide itself in my luggage and sneak into America.
And after da 'Beavs win, it will be time to fire up a Cohiba to savor our statewide dominance.

The brand new Jameson Caskmates IPA. It's aged in IPA beer barrels giving it the spicy hop taste. It thst creamy smooth finish of Jameson. I had it when I was in Ireland and waiting for it to hit the United States.
Go beavers!!!

Jose on the bench. Start with a couple shots of Patron. Then, going with Beak Breaker (appropriate) for the win.

I will put this here.
Oregon State heads South to Eugene in the 121st Civil War. The Civil War is tied for the fourth-most played rivalry game behind only the Battle for Paul Bunyan's Axe (Minnesota-Wisconsin), the South's Oldest Rivalry (North Carolina-Virginia), and Battle for the Victory Bell (Cincinnati-Miami (OH)). Among primary rivalries, it is second behind the Battle for Paul Bunyan's Axe (all other rivalries being secondary rivalries).
Oregon State started fielding a football team in 1893. Oregon, the smaller school that was founded later, started fielding a football team in 1894. The two teams played in 1894 and have played every year that the two teams have had teams since 1894, except 1911, because of rioting. The teams played twice in 1896 and 1945 (because of the concern over World War II travel restrictions).
The Beavers won the 2016 edition and are seeking their first two-game winning streak since 2006-2007. Oregon State last won two straight in 1973-1974. Before that, the Beavers' longest streak was eight straight from 1964-1971.
Oregon has won four straight in Autzen Stadium. The Ducks' longest winning streak in Eugene is six games from 1995-2005. Oregon also was undefeated in eight straight Civil Wars in Eugene from 1975-1989 (0-0 Toilet Bowl tie in 1983).
