There was an article on O Live a few weeks back that OSU wanted him but couldn't hold a spot and he wanted to visit a few places, so they were "parting ways". There's still a chance but I think he'd have to greyshirt.

Interesting since scout.com had him on OUR signed LOI list as of earlier today.
Wonder if there was something else going on. whole process didn't add up.
Oh well.

It needed to make sure each commitment and prospect would qualify academically. Those coaches also put timelines to commit on a couple targets, such as Liberty linebacker Kaelin Himphill. That helped OSU land "some very talented young men late," Andersen said, such as junior college defensive tackle and former Utah commitment David Fangupo.
"You can't take away an opportunity for a football program and a university for one young man that holds you hostage late into the process," Andersen said. "We were able to fight through that. That's probably the best thing we did." |

Is that the university the Germans founded after they discovered San Diego in 1904 or is it UCSD? I always confuse those two...
