was the swagger from Tres. It was the same swagger we saw in KC, but this time it wasn't just for a half, and wasn't just from the outside. If it wasn't for he and Olaf deciding to bring their A games, we were never in this one whatsoever. Tres looked like a guy that could become the stabilizing force.
Hoping to see the same from Thompson happen soon (did well on his floaters, but still no groove from deep), and Bruce seemed unintimidated as well in his brief time.
The defensive lapses are more concerning with this frosh crew, as I believe 3-4 of York's 3's came in a brief stretch with GP II out. Eubanks in particular got a tongue lashing for not rotating quickly. But some of UA's 3's were very deep and simply indefensible - the only defense at that point is to change the pace of play so players like York weren't able to get that rhythm going. I'd personally rather see our own guys counter with their own rhythm, we just aren't there yet to do that against a team like UA and win. Still, it was good to see both Oleg and Tres get comfortable in that style and show we could keep pace for 30 mins.
