We've got no one to fill in for Bresser? Giving up a forfeit to start the match is not a good sign for a #22 ranked squad.

Been told earliest we'd see Bresser is Mid December, Michigan dual. Huge fail in my opinion. He RS last season, had a lot of time to focus on classes in addition to working out. Who was tracking this? Hmmm
Doyle dinged up....he'll be out there later this season, when healthy. I'd like to know how he stacks up against Terry, who isn't too shabby as a true Frosh.

From a dual meet standpoint we "only" miss him for George Mason and probably Michigan. Caulkins wrestled at 125 last season when Bresser redshirted. I'm assuming he moved up to 133 because he felt he had a better opportunity to battle for a starting spot, but lost out to Devan Turner. Disappointing for sure. He'll miss the Cliff Keen tourney in Vegas and that is a big time missed opportunity in terms of seeing how he stacks up against other ranked/elite competition.

At least against GM, let someone jump up a weight. Might surprise.

Bresser is at 125 / lightest weight class, so the only possible move would be that Caulkins would have to drop back down - but if he was gunning for 133 in wrestle-offs, then he's probably more like 140+ these days.

But in other words, come on Bresser! Get it together! anyhow.. onward. Let's take care of business today.. Go Beavs!

Impressive, considering they are so young, had to fly across country to get to VA and compete. I am liking more of what I see of Myles Terry. He majored a RS junior for GMU, held him to 4 points. I don't care if he is a nobody or not ranked. That is tough to do.

There will be a pretty strong group of wrestlers there. I think at 133, 197 & heavyweight there are 3-4 ranked kids that should be there.. At 141 we should see Intermat's #9 and #10 ranked kids. Navy has a strong team, Princeton, American, Hofstra and Old Dominion are usually pretty solid. Will be a challenging weekend for us with some solid competition!

Follow up on the Navy Invite: We brought 15 kids -so in addition to the starters from yesterday, we should see Calkins (133), Noonan(149), Tobin(149), Williams (157), Rateb (197) and Parazoo (Heavy). We should have a few other guys heading up to Spokane on Sunday.
