this is looking possible-to-likely after the season: the R word
will Jim Leavitt leaves the dux to coach K-state? (he has a K-state only get of duk jail card apparently) . (please all you dudley-do-rights who want to shoot down anybody with a demerit on their resume just pause on the hypothetical) And Should the search committee have him on the radar?
The collateral good news is I would say either way Willy tags is screwed. He is already revealed himself to be quite a bit less than a chimp belly level offensive mastermind. The duk d while not great is the only thing keeping them bowl eligible. Part of the beavs problem is they have a zero sum game with those hole bastids. They win we lose. We lose they win. Doesn't have to be that way but it IS. The numerous 5* verbals will not be of help to Willie because he really is not a good x's and o's or preparation guy and if he has to start over with a new D coord, that's a big set back.
Anyway, Jim Leavitt is a more proven success in the pac 12 than the other candidates, save Tedford.
