It is official. The Oregon State Beavers WBB Twitter site made it so this afternoon with the announcements of the signings of 6'9" Andrea Aquino, 5'11" Jasmine Simmons (Australia), and 6'7" Patricia Morris on the first day of the early NLI signing period for basketball.

ESPNW has the OSU class currently ranked at #14 as noted above in the above Tweet. Prospects Nation has the three-player OSU class ranked #23 nationally and has reduced all three signees' heights in its posting below. prospectsnation.com/class-rankings-2018-october-2017

Recruiting classes continue to shine. Scott R is an amazing recruiter. Rae Burrell probably belongs somewhere other than CV anyhow. Maybe she’ll see the light in 6 or 7 months. Welcome to these 3 great young women!!!!!

Really glad to see all 3 have signed on the dotted line....
I have been so preoccupied with Rae Burrell this past week that I forgot the logical alternative to a 4th signee: Incoming Transfer Player.
Coach Rueck has developed a national reputation as a man of character, and as a coach who develops team play and team loyalty in his players. A lot of young women (and their parents) in different regions of the country know about Coach R and his OSU program and hold them both in high esteem. I have a strong feeling that Destiny Slocum, who seemingly arrived out of the blue but in fact didn't, is not the last nationally ranked player who transfers in to play for the Beavs.....
Just thinking out loud here, but the more I think about it the more sensible it seems.........GO BEAVS

CR has said that he likes 12, more than that and the end of the bench becomes a lonely place. Hard to get minutes for everyone. Unless there are plans to redshirt someone.

Lot's of Pac-12 schools in that top 25 - going to be an extremely competitive conference for years to come. Not like it isn't competitive now, but the level of talent is continuing to increase.

And for all the nervous Nellies (myself included) who wondered about UConn rumors and what not, for another year the streak remains intact: any WBB recruit who has publicly committed to OSU has kept that commitment (evolving Mayhue story notwithstanding).
Go Beavers!

Just throwing this out there.
Rueck has said he likes 12 players on a team, enough to develop a couple players and still have enough to work games with.
By necessity he had to have large recruiting classes to start with to build up a team. Several of these girls moved on to other programs when OSU didn't work out. Eventually the recruits got better and stayed, starting with the Ruth, Jamie, Deven, Sam, and then transfer Jen Hill. The next year was the Syd and Gabby class. So we lost five and then four, then we have a single and pair. With the Jo transfer as a junior that gives us three juniors. We have the four sophomores and two freshmen. Put Destiny in and we will have three sophomores next year. Add the three incoming freshmen and we will have a stable roster of mostly three girls per class with a four thrown in.
A good balance of experience and youthful energy.

Nice link. One of the pictures on the wil2win sure has AA at the high post and PM down low. I have a feeling that AA is going to be able to play either position.
