I'm guessing he was in the loop for some time and was a major reason for leaving. Leach will be next. I heard as far back as last Fall that Ernie was safe for a while cuz they have no $ to upgrade from him. The good news for us... if Leach does leave it makes WSU the worst job in the Pac12. Our announced increase towards football makes us way more attractive... and in many ways, since they'll prob have a "budget" AD, reduce coaching salaries, less ancillary staff. |
