I'm pulling for Kershaw to get the post season monkey off his back. Love me some Altuve though, but go Blue.

I just can't get on the Dodger bandwagon... too much SF Giants in me to do that....
Altuve was the beast on my Fantasy team so I'd like him to win as well.
I do have to admit that Bellinger is a beast and seems to play the game the right way.

My Dad would have corrected you before you finished... "dem bums"! "da Bears" They were the working mans and or poor mans team. Brooklyn was the poor side of the bridge. By 1938 they were affectionately (or not) called Dem Bums, or just Bums. They just never won the "big" games... finishing low in the standings (from 1925 to 1938 they finished higher than 4th in the NL only once... 3rd in 1932). Then later due to their annual defeats to the hated cross town rival in World Series play ('41, '47, '49, '52, '53, '56). Every year was "wait till next year"... they were considered just "Dem Bums". But their luck finally turned around when they finally beat the Yankees in the '55 WS only to then be moved to LA in 1957.

Of course Bellinger plays the game the right way, he made a smart decision when coming out of high school, going straight to the pros. Because if he hadn't done that, he would have been playing three years of college ball doing bunts with a runner on first and no outs, down by 3 in the 8th inning, in front of a crowd that consists more of the security than actual fans. (Hopefully that gives you an idea where he committed to). His swing would have been ruined, by not swinging enough.

But... but BLUE is in your NAME! It turns out that blue heron was just a red herring. (You have to say it out loud, I think?) Go Dodgers!!!!!!!!!

How about them Astros!
The series just got real interesting heading back to Houston tied 1-1.
Crazy number of long balls hit last night.
