I can’t believe any young woman would want to play basketball at Baylor University. The school leadership systematically covers up rapes, their coach is a despicable enabler and apologist for that culture and Waco TX is a miserable sh!thole. I guess for some folks “winning” is everything. I’m so glad we kicked their ass.

Regarding Baylor: Amen! Of course, I say the same sorts of things about UNC (the University with No Credentials) and Louisville (the S in "louisville" stands for "strippers", that's why it's silent), and yet things never seem to change.
Clearly Barnes (Arizona) can recruit. I believe she was head of UW's recruiting when they nabbed Plum, too. If she can coach as well as she can recruit, there may be a new powerhouse rising in the desert.
They have AA at 6'8" and PM at just 6'5". They give both 4*'s. This is the first list that I've seen rate JS and PM. Nothing on Mayhue.

"Nothing on Mayhue." It will be interesting to see if this quote becomes a developing story. Or not.
Looking at the numbers, it's entirely possible that Mayhue & Burrell are chasing the same schollie.... It remains possible, as I said a week or so back, that Mayhue arrives in Gill as a walk-on..... Depending on what school Burrell chooses and, of course, whether Coach evaluates Burrell as a better prospect than Mayhue (or vice-versa).....

ProspectsNation will occasionally drop a taller player's height by inch in contrast to the height listed by most other sources and publications. I don't quibble because I think player heights are rounded up quite regularly (so maybe AA is closer to 6-8 than 6-9, I don't know). However, to cut Patricia's height by 2 inches seems to be excessive and erroneous. Yeah, I know I'm engaging in trivia, but I doubt they actually sent someone to southern Cal to measure her! I googled PM and could find no other height listed for her but 6'7", going as far back as 2015, as per this example:
www.sgvtribune.com/2015/02/14/duarte-girls-basketball-patricia-morris-cap-perfect-montview-season/
ProspectsNation is clearly the outlier.

Well, in this article, ESPN notes (and provides a picture): Andrea Aquino looks up to 6-foot-9 WNBA star Brittney Griner. That's figuratively, not literally. Aquino, a 6-9 junior center at Eastside (Paterson, New Jersey) via Paraguay, had a chance encounter with the Mercury star at a Phoenix airport in December 2015. Griner was nice enough to pose for a photo with Aquino, who was visiting Phoenix to play in the prestigious Nike Tournament of Champions. "I was in shock," said Aquino, who could barely keep it together at the thought of meeting her idol. "I had always asked God, 'Please, I wish I could meet her one day.' "When I saw her, I said, 'No, this can't be.' ... She was really nice." Aquino, 18, said that when she stood next to Griner, she was a tiny bit taller than the two-time WNBA Defensive Player of the Year. And it is that rare height -- along with uncommon mobility for someone her size -- that has made Aquino a major target for college coaches around the country. And we have images of AA and PM standing next to each other: So we can conclude that the real issue is Brittney Griner's reported height..... Go Beavers!

A couple of weeks later Griner was asked about the height and was told that AA said she thought she (AA) was a tiny bit taller. Griner said no, that AA was definitely taller by more than just a tiny bit.

Went to Fiba site, last year U17 World titles had Simmons at 5'11 as well www.fiba.basketball/world/u17women/2016/Jasmine-Simmons, scrolled down and checked the comparison against the USA team. Stats better than all prospectnation top 10 and only rated 4 star? ESPN have AA as 5 star, PN as 4 star??

Jazz is probably a 4 star because pn hasn't seen her play or play very much. Many foreign players are rated low by them for the same reason.
Personally the video I've seen of her shows an athlete worthy of 5 stars.

I wonder why they don't include Katie Mayhue who was our first recruit. That makes 4 and I know Rae Burrell visited recently and has us in her top 4. She would be a huge get.

Personally the video I've seen of her shows an athlete worthy of 5 stars. I too have high hopes for Jazz Simmons.....I don't know what it takes to be a 5 star, but I see someone with a real motor, great court vision and interior passing, excellent speed down the floor, a slasher, a rebounding guard..... Combine that with some really talented height coming in, and some existing talent, and these coming few years look to be quite interesting. Go Beavers!
