Tres Tinkle missed nearly all of last season due to a wrist injury. After being granted a medical hardship, Tinkle is ready to get back to playing.
“Through the injury, that was one of the darkest times that I went through in my basketball career,” Tinkle said. “With a lot of support from the coaches and friends, I was able to get through it. I am focused on having a healthy year and continuing to play the game I love to play.”
Tinkle is ready to get back on the court and show everyone what he has been working on for the last year. His return comes with both nerves and excitement. The time off the court gave Tinkle a new perspective on the game.
“I was able to learn through the coach's eye and understand why they expect so much from us and to do things the right way,” Tinkle said. “Obviously, I matured more as a player and want to be more of a leader.”
