Johan is a 7'1 guy from the Netherlands that played for Ralph Miller from 1987- 1989. I see on the internet he works for OSU now. I saw him today, with I'm guessing his wife, daughter and son. The kids look high school age. I'm putting this on the recruiting board because his son looks at least 6'11" and his daughter (who was in a walking cast (boot) with crutches) looks 6'7". Are they playing at one of the local high schools?

Johan's son is 7'1" and is a sophomore at Corvallis High. He has a long way to go for his coordination to catch up to his size, but he definitely has the height part down.

I've seen him at Timberhill Athletic Club working drills on the basketball court with Aki Hill... seems a bit rough at this stage but good to see him working to improve.

Saw Aki as well.

He would hit shot after shot from about 8 feet and just laugh and say it wasnt our fault. Funny guy.

I just remember Johann riding down 4th Street on his bicycle with his girlfriend in the middle of all that traffic and thinking Ralph Miller would have a heart attack if he saw him.

Huh. Saw a very tall teen at the Moda center Saturday night. Now that this popped back up that might have been Johan kid. Very blond...and very tall
