In the postgame interview, WT talked about why Gomis and N'Diaye didn't get PT, and he mentioned that he was making a concerted effort to shorten the bench. Said he previously was trying to keep everybody happy, and that was on him - and is now shortening the bench to help with continuity.
Other than perhaps a few exceptions, I hadn't though it had been much of a problem, although the erratic substitutions have been complained about here before. It does seem like a few players are separating themselves for more PT, and gelling on a more consistent basis. Tres and Eubanks in particular seem to be picking up some chemistry.

Reference interview link: And after Reid's stupid stunt I'd bet his path back to any meaningful playing time (when he becomes eligible) will be a very long one.

Not to pile on the kid, but the main reason he should have a long road back is he hasn't shown playing him more than 10-12 minutes this year, actually helps the team.

Tinkle was this close to not being able to keep that bench so short. Towards the end, every single player on the floor had four fouls.
