Interestingly enough, if USC shoots their season avg. at the FT (they shot only 4% below their season average there) and from behind the 3 PT line, we still win by 1 PT. We have to give our D some credit there as well - a lot of the 3's they shot were from really deep, and not in good flow. Additionally, if we shoot our season average from 3 (Thompson had good looks that he usually makes), it's a wash on their 3 PT delta anyway. We made our fortune in this one.

I saw one goal tending non-call on USC, ball was definitely on the downward arc, swatted about 2 or 3 feet from the rim. Then there was the dude hanging on the net, and releasing as the shot was in the air, basket moving, shot missed. Could not be more obvious, but whistles were swallowed.
Typical Pac12 officials. abysmal. I wonder if Reid's move, made Booker Turners of all of the officials.
I wish WT, when discussing punishment with the conference had said, "Yes, it was wrong, but it wasn't really egregious, unless..."

How about a little credit to Duvivier for his play yesterday. He has disappointed me most of the year, but I thought he did a good job so I have to give him some credit. His decision to pass to Shaft after getting the great pass from Eubanks was excellent basketball. Nice job, Duvivier!

His decision to pass to Shaft after getting the great pass from Eubanks was excellent basketball. Nice job, Duvivier! Agree - solid game for Duvivier. He was rewarded with almost GP II minutes on the floor, helped by him keeping TOs to a minimum along with ill-advised drives to the basket. He was also the only starter that managed to stay out of foul trouble. His 'oop throwdown was wild, serious hops for a guard that doesn't get muscled around.
