Absolutely! Not only that, but I'm feeling more and more like we are losing out on quality in-state kids. Roseburg had 3 kids from last year's team who are now at Michigan, Oklahoma State and Stanford respectively. Now they may not be the impact freshman type that you are alluding to, but if you're good enough to wrestle at OK State or Michigan... That tells me Z has done all he can here, and it may be time to start looking for another coach. Oregon and Washington still produce talent good enough to keep us in the top 10, but we ain't landing many of the big fish. I think Z is fine as both the face of OSU wrestling and as adult supervision. He needs young coaches who can recruit & relate to the youngsters. |
