CORVALLIS -- Each morning Tres Tinkle wakes, he is immediately greeted by two numbers above his bed to remind him of a season many wish to forget. 5-27. The Oregon State redshirt sophomore forward watched 23 of those losses from the bench with a black cast wrapped around his arm, the consequence of a broken wrist suffered six games into the season. So entering a year in which he and the Beavers hope to reclaim the respect of the college basketball world, he went to a local store, stickered those numbers to his wall and showed his teammates. Wish he would put "NCAA 2018" on the wall instead. Dwelling on the past seems odd. Especially since he was not involved in the season in question.
