You could see that 4th and 10 play coming a mile away on TV. The lineman for OSU was set up inside the UW tackle, he had no chance to contain the edge or get outside. The OLB cheated up into the middle of the line way too early. You could see there were no defenders outside the tackle, I can't believe a defense would ever line up that way on purpose. You can see immediately after the hand off the RB isn't going to get touched until after he has the first down. But then again, you could see the defense playing on borrowed time the entire first half, gambling and hoping it would pay off, which it did temporarily. That's not sustainable. Anyone that thought the Beavers had any chance of winning even when they were only down 7-0 at the half is delusional. These games remind me so much of the Pettibone years, where people actually think it's a positive that the game is still competitive in the 3rd quarter. How far they've fallen. Crawford would have had a shot of making a play, if Morris had not decided to run the both of them out of the play. Granted, having your CB on an island to stop a RB with a full head of scheme is not ideal.

I like Big Jim but he's full of big crap! Garretson threw the ball and completed most of those 11 completions to RBs and they were on swings and he was going there the whole way! You could tell. That is not a game plan that's playing to not lose. Have fun?! Eff me!There was no progression! But the crime here is the defense! I cannot believe that there are so many basic and fundamental errors happening! It is a complete sign that the wheels are off and this could be the absolute worst season EVER here! Losing contain! Guys running free in the back end! DBs having to wheel vs a short post! Gimme a break! Worst team in the nation! Easily!! Go Beavs! Play of the game. The Huskies came out in the second half and drove to the Oregon State 25, and the Beavers stopped them on three plays. Fourth and 10. Smitty, showing no respect for Oregon State's defense (because the chimps in charge do not deserve any respect) dials up a straight run to the edge. Coleman breaks off a 20-yarder. First-and-goal. That opened the floodgates. The next play was a touchdown, three-and-out, touchdown. 21-0. The teams traded turnovers, then three-and-out, touchdown, three-and-out, touchdown, fumble, and touchdown. 42-0. Washington outscored Oregon State 21-0 in the third quarter. 69-21 in the third quarter over the past five games. Oregon State puts itself into a 10-point hole on average each game to start the second half. Minor correction: 9er didn't dial up a run play on that. As Big Jim pointed out and the coaches later confirmed, Browning read that our edge guy tipped his hand that he was going to crash down pre-snap, moved Coleman to his left, then handed the ball to him crossing between him and the LOS. Coleman went directly where our linebacker/DE had vacated. Good audible by Browning. Initially, I just thought it was the ultimate sign of disrespect toward our D to be brazen enough to run the ball with 4th and long instead of kicking a moderately-long field goal.

I told my wife before UW even snapped the ball, all they have to do is run to the right and it's a first down. I'm not that smart, if I saw it, then it must have been a horrible defensive call. So...needless to say, I no longer respect "the process" of CGA.
