Nall is the real deal. Collins has moxie. Saw amazing Wazzu receptions against some very good coverage at times. We have a back up qb with experience. CGA has won in the Big 10

I saw improvement on both sides of the ball. I'm ok as long as we improve incrementally in a similar fashion.

Beavs won Time of Possession 30:27 29:33 honestly there was some new good things to see: stopped cougs from scoring on their first drive of second half, closing the deal with a blocked fg said something sacks of falk were temporarily satisfying, Luton moved the chains intermittently with passes and feet Garretson threw better passes than expected On the whole it seemed the team played hard. They didn't quit. Still clueless as f%#* about pass coverage and horrible tacklers and poor blockers though. But those are minor problems.

DBs did a great job of giving "incomplete" signal and waving finger despite getting burned all day.

DBs did a great job of giving "incomplete" signal and waving finger despite getting burned all day. During the game this was driving me nuts, but looking back on it I'd rather have them foolishly giving off gestures than sink their heads and quit. We bitched the past few games about the team playing with no energy or swagger, the db's showed showed some swagger even if it was misguided. Now, it would be nice if they actually played well AND played with enthusiasm!

Make a play or keep quiet.

DBs did a great job of giving "incomplete" signal and waving finger despite getting burned all day. Thanks. Now I know that I'm not the only one who goes bonkers when they do that. On one finger wave the ball was thrown short and actually hit # - in the back of his helmet. He showed great pride in his achievement, by doing a chest/body bump with another db. I guess when they watch the films they don't see what I feel when they do that. But, if it keeps them motivated and feeling good, have at it. It is done by others beside Beavers so maybe we're just picking nits.

This thread is an indication that the dark ages are descending on Beaver football. During the 28 years of misery we led the nation in moral victories.
