Just saw where he's scheduled an official visit for September 29. Here is a link to article on his recruitment. Believe it was written prior to him setting a date. d1vision.com/aguir-agau/

Kudos to Aguir for thinking about having a fallback plan to hoops..... Thanks for posting this, I am already looking forward to basketball season due to our sports situation in other fall sports.
Go Beavs!

Looks like Warren Washington (6-9) center from San Diego area -- not to be confused with Warren Washington, OSU alum and recipient of the National Medal of Science -- will be on campus the same weekend. I've included link to San Diego St. thread on him because it has some videos in it (and kind of interesting to read the angst other team's fans have). Looks like he plays against lot less talented (or at least shorter) opponents, so tough to get a great read on him. But he looks pretty much what you'd expect of a 3* big man -- somewhat of a project who needs to add strength. But he does have some pretty good range and appears to have good court vision and be a good passer. According to the SD St. thread, Utah and Cal have been in on him for awhile, but getting an official can't be a bad thing. aztecmesa.proboards.com/thread/48877/pf-warren-washington-mbb-18

Big recruiting weekend for Beaver basketball . . . and football. Knew that Washington and Agua were supposed to be visiting this weekend, but not about Kessler Edwards (3* SF). Has kind of a funky shot. His brother is at Pepperdine. Not sure if he was hurt last year (no stats), but as a freshman he averaged 24 minutes for the Waves -- averaging 7.2 ppg, 4.2 rpg, and 1.3 apg. www.oregonlive.com/recruiting/index.ssf/2017/09/oregon_state_recruiting_beaver_5.html

I would take a class of Jack Wilson, Warren Washington and either Agua or Edwards... but don't we need a PG in this class?

Washington looks like he'd be a good get. He's got some decent ball handling/passing/driving skills for a high school big from what I can see. I could see him filling in at three spots if needed.
