Hopefully that helps.
Bad news, in addition to Williams being done for the season, Crawford is now listed as out as well. Missing both starting CBs is not ideal against Wazzu.
Out
Xavier Crawford, CB
Drew Kell, S
Zach Standish, K
Shemiah Unutoa-Whitson, LB
Dwayne Williams, CB
Doubtful
Jaydon Grant, CB
Thomas Tyner, RB
Probable
Seth Collins, WR

I don't care how good a defensive back is if the dline gets no push the dback is helpless.

And isn't Jalen Moore suspended for the first half this week for getting ejected for targeting last week.

Here's the list of guys who are NOT true freshmen or walk-ons and haven't played in the first 3 games. I had assumed some of these guys have been out due to injury. Some are JC transfers with redshirt seasons abailable:
WR Seth Collins WR Aaron Short OL Clay Cordasco OL Miki Fifita OL Justin Sattelmaier OL Keli'i Montibon OL Yanni Demogerontas DE Lamone Williams DE Ricky Liuchan DT Craig Evans DT Thor Katoa CB Christian Wallace CB Chris Henry S Mason Moran

I'm rooting for Seth. At one point it looked like he might never see the field again.. and then breaking a finger where you play a position that calls for fingers...
We brought in 3 JC OL and none of them have seen the field. That doesn't seem like a good thing.

I've watched Jalen's hit again and again. He initially hit the guy in the top of the back. It was not a hit to the head.

I've watched Jalen's hit again and again. He initially hit the guy in the top of the back. It was not a hit to the head. The issue was he dropped his head and when high with the crown of his helmet. Refs are cracking down on that. As they should be. it is dangerous and reckless behavior. you are more likely to hurt yourself than your target as well. More over, the intent behind hitting like that is almost certainly to cause harm. I'd pull a player if I was coach for trying to tackle like that. In today's day and age, with what we know about brain health, you just can't be doing that. gotta be smarter than that.

Jalen literally ended up jumping over the receiver. The even worse call was the one a few minutes later when our defender literally hit the late-sliding QB in the chest with his outstretched arm and somehow got flagged for a personal foul. Insane.

He is a promising talent, but he just can't seem to stay healthy. Keep your chin up, Dwayne. Here's hoping you are 100% for camp next year, and get to play every game for us. I really feel bad for injury-plagued kids. Two of my former students - Jake Pratt for the Beavs and Curtis White for the zeros, had NFL potential, but both of them fought injury and eventually had to medically retire without even scratching the surface. Great kids...Jake's situation made tougher as he watched one of my other kids, Bill Swancutt, destroy the PAC 10 and go to the NFL. The two of them grew up going to school and playing together. As excited as I was for Billy, I was just as sad for Jake!

I may be the only person who thinks this but it would be nice to see Seth save this year again since it is pretty much done with (especially entering this middle stretch of brutal games). I know it is just a finger and you'd have to put him in a straight jacket in order to keep him from playing but it would have been nice to see him come back with a 3-1 record and a decent shot at a bowl game instead of what he is coming into now.

That was a terrible call. The Big Ten refs called it a personal foul, rather than targeting, too, so there was no review. Not that they needed it, but I do not remember Oregon State getting one questionable call, and Minnesota got several.

I don't care how good a defensive back is if the dline gets no push the dback is helpless. You are correct sir. At least the evil beaver pass rush will not be wasted this week by shoddy play in the backfield. Normally I would expect the couglets hang 60 on the board but they are probably hungover from the OT game and vaguely disinterested by the threat level of the opponent. Lets say they put up 42. I hope no one even suggests that is improvement.

Christian Wallace was a 4* recruit. sure he had eligibility questions, but the dude was here in the Spring. Sattelmaier was expected to immediately push to start... not so much it appears.
