We have a bye the week after the WSU game, which would be a good time to get in an interim coach.
CGA is a train wreck. The administration is not doing the team, the program, or the fans any favors by keeping him around. Unlike others on this board I think there is talent on this team, although I certainly don't blame others for concluding otherwise, given the results so far.
Defense: we've got some big dudes at DL and I think we can do fine at the DT spot in a 4-3. DE might be harder to find, which is a real twist from the Riley years. LB? Plenty of 235# dudes. Secondary has some players.
Offense: Luton could be a decent pro-style QB with the right coaching. I am absolutely sold on Nall, Pierce and Tyner as being excellent backs. WRs are decent, too, with Hodgins having he potential to be the real deal, as in all Pac 12 quality. Again: with good coaching.
OL? I don't know about that. At this point, if I had the ability to can anyone on the coaching staff (besides all of them and certainly besides Andersen), it would be Woods. His lines have looked terrible without Harlow and Andrews. Every team has players that can help a team rise, but at some point it is the coach who needs to get the players to the highest level possible. Woods doesn't seem to have that ability and his line last year was nowhere without Harlow and Andrews. The run blocking is poor, to say the least.
Special teams are nowhere and Prorebski seems to have backtracked. Definitely get rid of Andersen. There's gotta be a coach who would like another shot in mid-season; a coach who can't be any worse than Andersen.

As far as interim, I think it would have to be one of the current coaches, the new passing coordinator. Unless you find a retired coach who is willing to guide you through the rest of the season no good coach will be available... unless you are into Chipper or Les?! But, they are coming, nor as interim, nor cheap!

As far as potential interim coaches go, Baldwin had a high powered offense with a 4k passer and a 1200 yard rusher in the same year at CSU. He wasn't allowed to run that offense here.
