Is the O telegraphing the snap count? The Minnesota D seemed to be in the backfield when QB got the ball a lot last night.

I think we were snapping on the same count/sequence. Allowing the LBs to time the run up to the line

It's like: "When the QB starts to slap his hands together.........."
Ugh.

It's like: "When the QB starts to slap his hands together.........." Ugh. That's sure what it looked like to me the first two games. I noticed some variations yesterday. I'm wondering if he takes a quick scan before the snap or some other thing that inadvertantly signals the D it's coming.

Ha yes, so funny. Luton swings his arms right before the snap, I was wondering if this was a signal or if its just nervous habit.
Or more than likely, he's been coached up to do this.

Is the O telegraphing the snap count? The Minnesota D seemed to be in the backfield when QB got the ball a lot last night. That was one of the issues with the staff not changing some basic things last night. I made mention of this in the first quarter. The Beavs didn't even really need to change the snap count. But if Luton wasn't seeing stemming and defenders running up to the LOS (basically completely showing blitz), someone in the booth should have immediately have sent a message down for Luton to at least delay his count by just a quarter second and then you have a free play! But that never happened and I counted 6 time where defenders we're sprinting to the line and not breaking stride blitzing! That should NEVER happen that many times without an adjustment!! Go Beavs!

Also, why the increase in the use of "clapping" for the snap? Rarely saw that used with past QB's even 3M.

Is the O telegraphing the snap count? The Minnesota D seemed to be in the backfield when QB got the ball a lot last night. They were absolutely telegraphing the snap. I have never seen a defensive team time the snap as frequently as Minnesota did last night. And that's because a REAL coaching staff would have adjusted to that the FIRST time they saw Minnesota read the snap count. This is just such a simple, basic, fundamental piece of football coaching that it is practically unbelievable they didn't counter it immediately. It reminds me of Jerry Pettibone not even having a Hail Mary pass in his playbook. Just infuriating for a coaching staff at this level. SaveSave

I am still confused. Where did that come from? Who thought it was a good idea? Go under center!!!!!!!!!! Say Omaha! How hard is this? ??
