Nall also had the fumble that gave Minnesota a two-score lead in the 3rd and essentially killed us. Our backfield is not being used well at all. Some of the best running backs in the PAC and they are being way underused in my opinion. On Nall fumbling; so what, every running back drops one now and then. I'm not going to disagree about their usage... but, it's the offensive scheme that sucks not the # of carries. But, I'll strongly disagree (as I have before) in that our RBs are anywhere near the best in the Pac12. They are not in the top half. Most that think they are need to watch more Pac12 games. Couple that with an inferior OL they are bottom tier RBs... both go hand in hand.

A question I would have is: are you taking coaching into account? Because I would love to see both Nall and Pierce get even decent coaching before I would judge their abilities. E.g., If Nall played for Stanford, I bet fans there would be comparing him to Tommy Vardell or other big and outstanding HBs they have had. Unfortunately, they both play for what is shaping up to be the worst coach in the Pac 12. That is a serious handicap to overcome.

Picture this: Gary Andersen in his office, looking at our first two games, trying to assess our various problems, and deciding that one of our problems is that Ryan Nall is getting too many touches.
My gawd, the stupid, it burns...
(Yeah, yeah, I know, I like Pierce too, but c'mon...)
Nall was a Riley recruit. Seems Andersen is progressively minimizing the recruits he inherited and tonight proved that.
Exactly and giving the ball to Nall 80 times in the Civil War was just to get him tired so everyone could see Nall was out of shape. Gary just wants to lose. Its plain as the nose on your face.

Maybe the run game coordinator can sit down with the pass game coordinator and then they can discuss strategy with the night game coordinator and the first down coordinator and we can all get on the same page by the time we get to Pullman. I'm not sure the "friends and family plan" has any more options. Or at least any that will admit to either category! Ohhh, I'm sure there are more coaches in Utah that would like a 1 year payday I mean cradle of coaches. There's Lavell.....and Willingham....and
