I guess my comments are: -way to cover your arse on the defensive side. If we give up big yards, points, or both GA really didn't say anything definitive and can just say we have not arrived! -Wow... I'd guess that perfection is impossible over an entire game, so "nearing" is quite the accomplishment albeit "we're talking about PRACTICE... man"... AND it vs OUR defense... and probably the 2's!!! So there's that... I would hope you'd realize my intent was to poke fun at that article. I'm really hoping we squeeze out any kind of a win. Beavs by 4. Completely got that and was chiming in our your "fun"...

When someone asked our season predictions a few weeks ago, I said 5-7 with a W vs. Minnesota. Our defensive performance over the last two weeks has made me think that I should revise my estimate downward, including this game against Minnesota.
But I don't want to. Nothing would please me more than to see the team go 10-0 the rest of the way and for me to eat heaping piles of crow for any and all of the smack I have talked about CGA.
Therefore:
Beavs 33, Gophers 27.
Go Beavs!

Go Beavs! Hey, I am glad someone is reasonable and still has optimism. I will say my confidence in this team is a loss, with a final score of like 17-14 would make me feel better if the defense made plays.

Oregon State looks completely lost but manages to pull off a narrow win against a completely inferior foe in the first game in September and then uses a decent non-conference opponent to begin righting the ship. Where have I heard this before?
Oregon State 28 - Minnesota 20

I've seen every play from both games,on the boobtoob and live at Reser....and have NO logical reasons for picking the Beavs to win it...but I'm going to. 34-31. Wish I could be there, but gotta work. Hope the home crowd can help the team gut out a victory.

I am not a Beaver-naysayer like a lot of you on this site. However, I don't like this matchup. Minnesota's defensive front and their running backs could exploit our biggest weaknesses--our offensive line and our run defense. I'll be there in orange, rooting the Beavs on with my friend and Gopher alumn next to me. I'm expecting the verbal jabs.
Minnesota wins 30-17.
