Greetings Beaver Fans! We're driving to Corvallis from Utah for Saturday night's game and are planning on setting up a tailgate. Just wondering if any lots are meant for visiting team fans or if there are any lots you'd recommend over others. Any advice would be appreciated. Should be a close game, just like last season. Looking forward to enjoying a few "real" beers ! Thanks!

There's a couple good pay lots near 30th in the West side of the stadium. One is pretty big by the rugby field on 30th. There is a map somewhere on the Osu website in the football section. I think people are overall very friendly and welcoming. Glad you're coming to the game.

Headcase isn't as lazy as I am! Thanks! In my defense,I'm on my phone. Which is more legit than the Beaver's defense.

I was tailgating at Dad's weekend 2015 before UCLA blowout loss in one of the lots off 30th. A full minivan with CA plates pulled in near us and after five minutes or so,one guy gets out and starts walking towards us. Just as I was going to offer him a beer he turns and walks back to the van. After another five minutes he sheepishly walks back to us and asks if marijuana can be smoked at tailgaters. Our group consensus was keep it in the van unless in Eugene, then it's probably ok. So he laughs and goes back to the van and they proceed to act out the pre-prom scene from Fast Times At Ridgemont High. We still refer to him as "Cheech"

Nice! Thanks for all the info and stories! We're staying in Bend on Fri night and it looks like about a 3 hour drive on Sat AM. We'll be showing up with a cooler full of Deschutes if anyone wants to stop by. Harmless Gopher fans in a Maroon F-150 with tan pop up.

Be prepared that they may cancel the game due to poor air quality. There are a lot of forest fires right now and no sign of precipitation in sight. Pac-12 put out official announcement. link

If all else fails there is always the Chicken Ranch near Brooklane and Hwy 34.......formerly the Donor RV lot which has now moved back closer to campus (behind the Hilton and the softball field). Seems like a nice spot for opposing fans.

Be sure to keep an eye on Tripcheck tripcheck.com/Pages/RCMap.aspThe Santiam Pass has been closed due to fires, recently one way traffic flagged through and more recently full open. We came through Sunday night (from Bend) and there were small fires next to the road. At least 3 fire camps along the route. Word of advice. I do not like going down Tombstone Pass. That is the split in the highway that goes down through Lebanon & Sweet home. That is a windy mess. There is a route through Mill City that you can pick up on Google maps that i use. Just watch the Tripcheck throughout the week and you will be fine

Thanks for the heads up. I'm looking at the map and that makes sense. We had smoke in N. Utah this AM but I don't know if it was from the OR fires or not. Good luck to those who are dealing with it!! Hope to see you on Sat!
