I'm assuming that Marie G will at least start the season at C/5 with Grymek as her backup.
Filling the departed Breanna/Kolbie duo's spot at PF/4 is the task of:
Thropay So. 6'-2" Washington So. 6'-1" Corosdale Fr. 6'-2"
Is Tarea Green (6'-4") still with the team? Seems like this could be an "opportunity knocks" moment for her.
Hoping that Grymek can step into the starting C spot to allow Marie to operate at the 4.
Not as concerned about 1, 2 and 3 spots as some others are.

Taya is listed as 6'3".
As for Marie starting in the 5 spot, I'm not sure about that. I hope that this last year she has been able to shore up her back to the basket game, but that will have to wait until the season starts to see. That is why we started Bre/Kolby at the low post. I do see the Marie/Jo/Taya as this years Marie/Bre/Kolby only with even better potential. You are correct in that if Jo can earn the 5 spot we would start Marie at the 4. If Taya earns a starting spot I think we will start her at the 4 so we could have a biggie capable of hitting 3's. Marie would then be at the 5.
I am really hoping that Janessa is able to stay healthy and contribute. Maddie did a better than expected job at high post last year, usually able to make something good happen. I would like to see what she can do at a wing.
I have not seen any indication that Green is still with us, too bad because she had a nice shot. She has not been mentioned in any of CR's recent interviews, she is not in any of the teams pictures taken over the summer, nor has any of the team said anything about her. She redshirted her first year with Brown and then last year appeared injured most of the season. I also noticed several times late in the season that she was not even on the bench.
I'm really excited to see what this group of post players are capable of, I think we are going to be a force inside.

I hope you're right about Jo and Taya having the potential to match the play of Bre and Kolbie. They set the bar pretty high. This conference has some pretty tough 4's. Billings at UCLA, Hebard at uo, Anigwe at Cal and Johnson at Stanford. I'd like to see Marie going head to head against them. Marie's complete game obviously took a big leap forward between '16 and '17. If it takes another big step forward in '18 she could have a pretty memorable year.
