I know that there were some breakdowns in the secondary, including David, but I was really encouraged by his nose for the ball and his open-field tackling. On several plays, he seemed to be the only guy in position to prevent a big run, and it seemed like he broke down well and finished most every time. Learning to read offenses and sets is fixable. The inherent ability to pursue and complete tackles should be teachable, but we struggle to do it as a team. David doesn't seem to have that problem. I think he can be a good one!

Super bright spot. Now, if we can just get more like him.
