I think we will be very deep and talented at the field positions. If the starting pitching shapes up with Rasmussen, Thompson and Englebrecht out of the pen, this could be a special year. Go Beavs!

Tigardbeav, It was going to be tough to get through baseball season without a forum. Glad this is up and running. I'm stoked for baseball. Just wish I could get down to some of the tournaments in February. My father-in-law, Babeav is going to try to get to one of the tournaments.

He's a great Beav fan. Took me for some Civil war tickets a couple years ago. Mrs TB really wanted to go so I was obliged to go into the scalper market. He took advantage of me in a weak moment. ;-)
Maybe we can recreate the baseball game threads here.

That's right....he told me about selling you those civil war football tickets. He couldn't stomach going to watch a beat down. I'll have to let him know about this forum. Need to get Woodchips, Old Jim and some other baseball fanatics on here as well.

Don't forget about Christian Martinek and others! Also, Isn't Drew going to join the team after Tinks is done with him? Drew is in no way a D1 pitcher. At least at this point. And playing hoops will not allow him to. He needs to focus on trying to become a Pac 12 big. We have plenty of pitching. Non league will allow some key guys get back in the groove and develop roles. Drew is a project at this level. |

I'm going to start checking hotels in Omaha. In 2013 I made my reservation in February. If we really are a #5 team, we should get there in June. The promised land is calling, can you hear it?

Little family time in the car & tailgate. Good deal. Little get to know you time. Then GF says she doesn't want to go. And boy drops out too. I'm sitting there with 2 extra tickets. Oh well. We used our tailgate time wisely

Welcome Eugene Dave! I cant wait for Baseball. Lets get this board active! Thanks for the welcome. It's sad that the P-O board has died, the duck SOB who has hijacked it should be boiled in oil. Any of you guys or gals going to the Diamond Dinner on the 29th? It doesn't seem like ten years since they did the first one over at Reser, where does the time go? Too bad O State doesn't have a place bigger than the Alumni Center, as we have been selling out this event for the past several years. Goss webcam shows the new scoreboard was installed last Wednesday. Has anyone seen it from inside the stadium? |
