4. Disappointing showing in first game.

With the way they played the first game they should be happy anyone is showing up at all. The players should have this post put in their lockers for the rest of the season. IF they care.

Remember when Bi-Mart had Beaver tic coupons, two for one? I do. Think; Fertig, Avezzano, Pettibone, Kragthorpe, etal..... It's getting THAT bad again, I fear. These next couple games are CRUCIAL for the program, I think.
I'll be there, but....my patience for "the process" is getting damn thin.

To be honest, I would be there if we got relegated to the WAC. It's not about what happens on the field or who we play or who wins or anything. I loved going to games in 1997, I loved going to games in 2001, I loved going to games in 2011, and I loved going to that disaster of a game against UW in 2013. Performance on the field is not guaranteed. Weather is not guaranteed.
Friends, burgers, beverages, and orange and black are, rain or shine, win or lose. I'll be there Saturday.

I'll be there. A trip to Corvallis is like going home for me. Since I attended 81-85, winning has never been an expectation... effort and heart are required.

These next couple games are CRUCIAL for the program, I think. I'll be there, but....my patience for "the process" is getting damn thin. I recall my Dad would purchase the Family Pass, back in the 90s. On the weekends when my mother was out of town, he would find some lucky guy outside the stadium to bring into the game for free. After all, the pass listed two adults and two children. |
