Indiana played them tough at home in 2015 losing 27-34.
Lots of subplots. Indiana's HC from the past 5 years resigned last December after player abuse allegations surfaced and a month later he was named tOSU's OC.
If the allegations were true maybe Indiana players will have a little added incentive.
Tulsa at Ok State could be an even better match up. Wouldn't surprise if Tulsa was able to pull off a win.

Every team has questions entering a season. But there’s a sense among the Buckeyes that they’re ready to unveil what they expect to be a special team.
“I like our team,” Meyer said. “I like where we’re at.” (from an article in the Columbus Dispatch)
Wouldn't it be nice to start a year with a coach confident in where the team is at? I'm sure Indiana is going to do their best to make it interesting, Ohio State is too well-rounded and the Buckeyes are playing for pride after last year's loss. I expect them to cover that 20 point spread, but then I am partial. Go Bucks!

First games can be really wonky, especially on the road. Starting the season against a conference opponent is a different dynamic as well.

I will have to go tune into that. I have been watching Minnesota-Buffalo. Minnesota looks highly beatable. lots of youth and turn over. system looks similar. Neither QB for them looks like world beaters. they play with a lot of energy though, and their defense is aggressive. A game we should win though. we'd better win. they are not as good as last year. At least from what I see.

Well, IU is picking apart the defensive backs and looking good doing it. Buckeyes have a habit of giving their fans a heart attack!
C'mon Buckeyes!
Someone play "Hang on, Sloopy!"

Wow! The speed of the Buckeyes receiver Dixon is flat out crazy! What a weapon! Props to IU's QB, Lagow. He can throw a ball! Some of his decisions to throw away the ball as he's being sacked were pretty poor. But I'd love to see a qb like that in Corvallis!

Campbell Jr. and Dixon. just filthy talent.

Minny WON... overcoming the crap of last season... lots of youth... new coach... new schemes... 1st hype/ jitters... style points don't matter... they won. Pretty impressive to me. The most important aspect come 9/9 may be Minny is a must Win with what OSU faces after that.

I don't mean to be a jerk(proceeds to be a jerk) but to me this sentiment is part of the problem with our program. We should never be impressed with a squeak it out victory over Buffalo. Minnesota looked like a plain bad football team.
