That was the most depressing practice report ever. Two seniors! One says "they didn't beat us, we just FORGOT HOW TO DO ALL THE STUFF WE DO IN PRACTICE" and the other says "yeah we lost, but I did my job." And this is a day or two after the head coach lit up a guy for saying we "weren't ready to play coming out of the locker room at the half." This is beyond ridiculous, and I'm so dismayed. This team makes excuses, blames each other, let's one mistake turn into seven...... we've gotta turn this around quick, because the schedule gets real tough real fast and I'm starting to doubt this team has the mental fortitude to keep it together if things get tough. Most of the reasons I want CGA fired (today would make me happy...) have little to do with actually being 6-19. It is all the million little things, as they say. Being a douche canoe of a head coach in your attitude and accountability doesn't help. Who would you prefer be head coach? Mind you, we'd be starting over, again.

The obvious answer is "anyone but the current guy". That has worked at OSU for decades.

I'll give CGA this season but if after this season there's no improvement then we look at the candidates that may be available at that time. But I think our program at that point is less attractive then even when Riley II left and CGA came in so I think we'll be looking/hoping to lure a top FCS coach to our school. Again, I like Beau Baldwin and think we should give him a long hard look. Plus, he'd have a year of Pac-12 OC under his belt.
