So...full disclosure...I may not have watched the whole game Saturday

. It got hard to watch. Even so, I cannot bring myself to be pessimistic about the future of this team

. And, I feel that's fairly well-founded, so hopefully the 17 year olds are all getting sound advice in that area. At least the ones we want

After that blight of 28 straight losing seasons, we managed to still draw a few decent players and string together a few good seasons. I sincerely doubt that a bad season during the first year of the new (already proven) head coach is going to push many recruits away. Andersen appears to have a plan and can be pretty convincing. Give him a few years to get the machine rolling.
