question I'm gonna throw out there better than Jacoby at this stage? pretty close I'd say. In some aspects... but not as overall player. JE played an "easier" position some would say, but plus speed and quickness along with leftie bat and accurate arm makes JE better at his position and definitely harder to find overall. But, he was way less heralded than Nick. But, part of that is simply the culture now. Media hype and exposure has jumped a bunch in the last decade. Nick is good... very good, but he'll never be close to the 2nd tier "franchise" type that JE was... PS- I know what scouts and the hype say, but I have hard time not thinking Caden will end up the better player.

If he were a legit SS, he'd have HUGE value. I'm not 100% convinced he can't be a SS, but probably not. Either way, they are both really good players. If Nick can hit near .400 again ... it's nice to be able to debate who is the most amazing player. SaveSave

I'm going to look forward in retrospect (huh?) Anyway, I think there is a good chance that both those guys end up with over 1500 major league games. If that turns out to be true, it's simply amazing that they were both in the same class at OSU.

Both great players, but right now, today, Nick is the better hitter, by a fair margin. Caydn has some swing flaws that he needs to correct, and I'm betting he will this year. Not that he's bad, but certainly developed some holes as the season progressed. He seemed to struggle on the USA team with the bat. He'll be a lot more consistent this year I'm betting. Caydn will develop into a better power hitter I would think.
