Maybe in 2019, maybe someone takes a late round chance on him in the draft next year. Definitely possible he gets drafted in 2018. He'll still be a RS Sophomore, assuming he applies and the NCAA gives him a medical hardship (he'd fit the criteria). How old is he going to be at draft 2019? Tough break for Drew. Assuming he can pitch again. Pitchers with two TJ's don't have a great track record -- Brian Wilson, Joe Nathan, et al.

As did Kris Medlen, who is still trying to head back to the bigs.

So, he has two and has yet to prove himself. But here are some articles to creview: An article about the relative success of LRSs; An article that begins the discussion of second surgeries; and An article specifically addressing second surgeries. None of these are scientific, peer-reviewed articles. As I find them I will post them. Essentially, don't expect to see him at the MLB level without first proving himself in college. The odds are against his return to OSU, as well.
