Four of the 12 survivors who made the 2017 USA U-23 women's national team are PAC-12 players: Monique Billings (UCLA), Jordin Canada (UCLA), Sabrina Ionescu (Oregon), and Brittany MacPhee (Stanford). Two former Oregon high school players, Tennessee's Jaime Nared and Mercedes Russell, also made the squad. For a look at the entire 12-person squad, click onto the link below. OSU's Destiny Slocum is reported to have fared well during the training camp, but did not make the final 12-person team. www.usab.com/womens/u23/roster.aspx

A concussion suffered by blow to her head by a knee cost Slocum the opportunity to compete during the final two days of the camp. It does appear that she appreciated the opportunity to compete during the three days of the camp that she was healthy. I really like how she represents! www.idahostatesman.com/sports/article165485537.html
