One, Montanans are smart enough to pump their own gas. Two, you cannot buy a six pack before 8:00 AM. 2-8 is verboten. Yes, but you can drive on most interstate highways up to 90 mph, and if stopped by MSP, you get a $20.00 ticket that does not even go on your record as a moving violation - basically a parking ticket. Over 90? moving violation, but still a low cost ticket. Regarding helmets, speed and ticket costs, some may see it as a cleaning of the gene pool, some of us see it as a throwback to liberty and personal responsibility, without the nanny state telling Montanans how to live.
