How about a slick fielding middle infielder that likes to leave the yard frequently? First Team All 3A Pierce County League and the League’s “MVP” as a Junior, and named First Team All Puget Sound Area team by the Tacoma News-Tribune.
In 2017, he was 32-69 at bat for a .464 average with 8 doubles and 7 home runs with 38 runs scored, 23 RBI, 24 BB, 6 K’s, and 13/17 SB. Had an OBP of .589 and a SP of .884. His team was 20-4, defeating Snohomish 9-1 and losing to Mercer Island 12-4 in the WIAA 3A state playoffs.
As a Sophomore in 2016, he was 31-74 and a .419 BA. Scored 30 runs, had 21 RBI, with 6 doubles, 4 triples and 6 Dingers. Drew 27 walks and struck out 10 times. Successful on 6 of 9 steal attempts. Had an OBP of .569 and a SP of .851. Fielding % was .969. His team was 19-7, and lost their WIAA 3A playoff opener to Kennewick, 4-3 in 8 innings.
As a Freshman in 2015, he was 19-49 and a .388 BA. Scored 20 runs, had 9 RBI, with 5 doubles and 2 triples. Drew 13 BB and struck out 13 times. Had a .508 OBP and a .571 SP. Was 5 or 6 on stolen base attempts. Fielding % was .972. His team finished 20-6 and was defeated in the first round of the WIAA 3A playoffs by Vancouver-Columbia River HS, 6-5.
