Good Morning benny members. Have a question maybe someone can answer. Has anybody heard of a girl by the name Hanna Jump? I was on Prospect Nation the other day and came across Hanna's profile and discovered she had the Beavers as one of her schools of choice along with Washington and Stanford. I looked her name up on google and found quite abet of info on her. I will list the sites below. Looks like she was born and raised in England but now lives in Southern California. ESPN has her as a 3 star and P.N. 4 star. Looking at her in action on You Tube, she looks like a SR type of player. She has a deadly shot, aggressive, hard worker etc. Look at her numbers on maxprep and they are impressive. see for yourself ----> www.espn.com/high-school/girls-basketball/recruiting/player/_/id/212713prospectsnation.com/player/hannah-jump ---> ( Her number is 6) www.maxpreps.com/athlete/hannah-jump/4tboBH5sEeW-8KA2nzwbTA/default.htmGO BEAVERS !!!!

If Hoopgurlz has her at a 90, it means, "I haven't seen her yet (or recently enough to judge), but I've heard good things about her." Hoopgurlz is really just one full-time guy with a few informants that he gets tips from. He doesn't like giving scores over 90 until he sees them in significant action. Andrea Aquino was a 90 until she became a 98, Satou Sabally was a 90 until she was a 97.
Of course, some 90's stay 90's, or fall a few notches.

I believe that Kat Tudor may remember Hannah Jump a little bit. Jump was a freshman who scored 22 points (including six made three-pointers) for Pinewood HS when it pulled off a monumental upset in March 2016 against the nation's consensus #1-ranked team at the time, St. Mary's (Stockton). St. Mary's was the #1-ranked MaxPreps team in the nation at 28-0, had won the 2015 Cal Open Division girl's basketball title the previous school year, returned a number of Division 1 athletes with at least two (Tudor and Cayton from Cal) who played in the PAC-12 during '16-'17, and had defeated all challengers in two high level holiday tournaments (Nike Tournament of Champions & Title 9) in December 2015. Few basketball fans and coaches thought that St. Mary's would drop a game in California during the remainder of that season. And then along came Hannah Jump and her Pinewood HS teammates. Jump and her teammates shot very well from distance in that upset, making 16 three-pointers. It was an upset that many informed observers have ranked among the bigger upsets in California high school girls basketball history. I remember being shocked by that result. www.santacruzsentinel.com/article/zz/20160315/NEWS/160317327

Really good story. I'd forgotten that St. Mary's was that big of a powerhouse in 2016......16 3s will pretty much do it most of the time.... I thoroughly enjoy the gems your research uncovers...Keep 'em coming.
