Nice find. I read somewhere that KB was going to visit Oregon and I wondered at the time if OSU was also on her list of stops....
She's one of the far-away girls, both in time and distance, but it's nice to know that the Nation's Best are making stops in Corvallis.

This looks like an example where the that other school's success helps us out and vice-versa. A lot more national-level recruits are going to make the long trip to Oregon if they can check out two top programs in one swing. Just getting them to visit is a huge part of the process, and it seems a little easier these days.

Another intriguing underclassman who ventured to Corvallis along with Kennedy Brown for the two-day OSU Elite Camp on July 22-23 was Class of 2020 guard Hailey Van Lith from Cashmere, Washington. For those of you who may remember that Sydney Wiese was a 5'9" underclassman at Pinnacle High School in Arizona who kept growing, you may see some similarities in Van Lith. A savvy lefty who commonly sports a headband (sound familiar?), Van Lith appears to be already taller than the 5'7" height that she was listed in the ESPNW profile below that was written last year. She is very shifty and skilled at getting into the lane. Playing against small school (1A, the fourth highest of six classifications in Washington) high school competition, she led her Cashmere HS squad as a freshman to a runner-up finish at the 2017 WIAA 1A state basketball tournament.

Assuming that Van Lith continues to grow and get stronger, she is worth keeping a watchful eye on. Very skilled and possesses an OSU-like understanding of how to play the game.

The video below was taken four years ago after Hailey has finished her 5th grade school year. Not surprising that she handles the ball so well now as a rising sophomore in high school.
