I was pulling for you once we (Fullerton) were eliminated. My only concern was you easily surpassing our 1995 team as the greatest team ever if you won it all. OSU had a season for the ages... congrats guys, I give props where it is due.. Y'all had an incredible season... it's not your fault y'all play in a weak conference
SOS matters... week in and week out matters... Y'all have a great team, just not battle tested... Y'all have never had to scrap y'alls way back... I tried to warn yall, but all I got was "homer bs"
Let this be a lesson... 2/3 teams left are SEC teams... And there's a reason for that

And there's a reason for that I have nothing against LSU. They played with class. Pat Casey got flat out-coached over the last two games. The Pac-12 lets us down by failing to have a conference tournament and instant replay in conference. However, if you believe that the College World Series supports what you are saying, you are 100% wrong. Oregon State outscored LSU by five runs, almost two runs a game. Oregon (Pac-12 #8) beat Mississippi State (SEC #5) in their series this year. The umpire at the end was an SEC guy. (It's nice to have a make-or-break game be called by an umpire bought and paid for by your conference.) LSU got breaks. Oregon State did not. It's baseball. |
