This morning I have had time to reflect on yesterday, but more importantly, the entire season. One game does not define who or what we (they) are. We are Beaver Nation, and we are tough. We are tenacious, we are fighters, and we never back down when the going gets tough.
Our boys reflect that same toughness. They were snubbed by the NCAA last year. That lit a fire inside that has burned with a fierceness like never before. As we saw yesterday, they are not invincible. LSU is a worthy opponent. They want the same thing we want. Only one of us can have it. My gut tells me that we want it more than they do.
This afternoon, an Oregon State pitcher will take the mound and be handed the ball. He will take a long look up into the stands, hear our cheer, and pitch us into history. We have a date with destiny that needs to be kept. Believe, Beaver Nation, because our moment is at hand. We will not be denied what is rightfully ours. A battle is about to be waged between the white chalk lines, and in the dugouts. Only one team can win, and it will be the Orange and Black. On to victory!
GO BEAVS!!!

How would that make a PAC12 fanbase feel?

How would that make a PAC12 fanbase feel? I would "feel" (and in fact KNOW), that such a result would bring the SEC to within "6" of the PAC 12 in number of NCAA baseball championships won.

Can we expect the same level of boredom in this LSU-Florida matchup?

It's bad for college baseball. I dont know much (anything) about television ratings so I'm not even sure ESPN likes it. With the SEC umpire having the disparate strike zones on Saturday and the convenient blindness regarding foul/fair on Friday it raises the question of integrity in the game.

They own the SEC Network! LSU and UF played at a high level at the correct time to advance to the Championship Round of the CWS, period. Not sure who I want to win it. If LSU wins, you can say the Champs took you out on the way to the title. On the other hand, the bandwagon fans of LSU will just complain and that warms my heart. The Real LSU fans will realize that they lost to a better team.

They probably would have rather paired them with TCU in the final, but Florida and LSU is a nice silver medal. Oregon State and Florida would have been third choice with Oregon State and TCU being a doomsday scenario.

Give LSU some credit where its due. ESPN nor the ump helped lsu hit the ball, ESPN nor the ump took the bat out of your hands.

LSU is a great baseball team with a great program. I hate excuses. You fellers deserved the victory. Champions adjust/adapt. My only caveat would be you and your program have enormous advantages, we only dream of. You don't need ANY help from the Boyz in blue.

North (cold) vs. South (warm). Other than OSU, there are ZERO northern teams to win a championship in the past FIFTY, (50 !!!) years....unless you count Stanford, and heck they've got palm trees!
