Well... the debate is on... but, no matter what your 3B says PC had to ask about Kwan's ball. And... to me him not coming out to ask is unlike him.
Worst case your told not reviewable... but, was very uncharacteristic coaching mistake by Pat. No review process is automatic on that type of play in any league.

we are owed a 2 run makeup call. IF ANYTHING LIKE THAT EXISTS. also this umpire is not consistent. LSU pitcher getting strike calls that thompson is not. Clearly. From what the commentators said the play was reviewable and Mr. PC choose not to what i heard them say and show is it is not on the list of reviewable items. |

Would make a lot more sense if it wasn't reviewable but lot of conflicting reports right now

Announcers said umps told truck it was if PC had asked. The way the rule is written it could be interpreted as not reviewable... EXCEPT wall is considered "the ground" on fair/foul calls. |

They said that the wording is confusing, because it says the ball must touch the ground first.
Sounds to me like the blame rests with Jenkins. He needs to tell Pat that it was close enough to have a conversation with the umps.
At the very least, reviewing it gives Kwan a couple minutes to shake off the "woulda-shoulda" frustration and get focused for the next pitch.

Casey did come talk to them quickly... he asked something couldn't rip lead what it was.
It isn't reviewable... it is over time to move on. This game is still within reach.
I hope the strike zone stays consistent moving forward.

Remember there is an ump right next to Andy and.... not sure which ump is the Crew Chief for this game. |

What would have happened if it was reviewed and overturned? What happens then? Does everybody get a base? Is it a ground-rule double?
Seems like a weird situation since the play was called dead...
