Thompson missing his spots and paying the price for it most of the time. I think like another poster said on a different thread..LSU hits a power pitcher better than a pitcher with the style of Fehmel. I think LSU has a pretty good idea what is coming. A good scouting report on what Thompson is trying to do on the mound.

Thompson changed to more breaking balls in that inning. Might be the best way to attack this lineup.

Can't diss a good pitcher... but, more that we're "standing". Those were straight as a taut string 4 seam FBs at 91-92 that caught a lot of the plate. The longer we stay in a stupor the more Lange will find better location. |
