Red Storm pitched a great game. How wonderful to have him make the bigs, and get a W his first time on the mound. Always knew he was MLB material. He joins Boyd and Conforto as part of the 2013 Omaha team to get there. Who from this years team will make it to the bigs?

Nice quote from Servais: "Heck of a debut," Mariners manager Scott Servais said. "You can't say a whole lot more. What an effort. It's kind of what we've seen out of Andrew Moore since the day he put a Mariners jersey on. I think people at Oregon State saw the same thing, and probably at his high school." www.espn.com/mlb/recap?gameId=370622112

Checked a couple Mariners boards. "He looks like he's 23 going on 40". Lots of Jamie Moyer comparisons.

I think the biggest difference between AAA and the bigs is the quality of the defense behind you. If you can keep the ball in the park, the Mariner's defense is good enough to keep you in the game. The bullpen, well that is a different story. Thank you Mr. Cano! And Congrats to Mr. Moore - you are a pro now, with a big W in your first stat line on the Baseball Reference website!
