It's the basketball team, and he is a transfer from...
drum roll
........
Oregon Freaking *ucks.
Well, I guess LSU fans can decide what to do now, since they have that chance with their own team.

I am new here, but is this not posted on the wrong board You are correct about him being under investigation but that does not mean he is guilty. let the investigations take its course and if he is found guily he should prosecuted to the fullest extent. He cant play a game for LSU until the 2018-19 season anyways

Difference is accused versus convicted. I think that's what they'll argue. But I understand your point: the SEC is actually the Southern Penal Conference and the Ducks would be right at home.

Nobody is posting on the Basketball board right now, and this I thought was somewhat relevant with the uproar from some Tiger fans regarding Heimlich.

The scenarios of the crimes for Heimlich and Bigby-Williams are DRASTICALLY different. And just like stated above, one was convicted and one is being accused

Another difference - One was an underage kid, the other was a full-grown adult

How difficult is it for someone to file a complaint and have an investigation opened by the police? From reading the article it does not seem the PD is trying very hard to investigate the incident. Seems like they stopped investigating once phone calls were not returned.

If he is indeed found guilty I don't want him anywhere near LSU.

Key difference.... One kid had admitted guilt, done all that was required of him and was a student in good standing until an expose made him a pariah... The other kid is currently under investigation still...
(although, I think I would say the PD is done investigating seeing as how this is a year old and nothing has been done on it...)

Ah college sports. Where we argue if it's better to have a proven juvenile sex offender or an accused adult sex offender on your team.

Bigby-Williams is innocent until proven guilty. I think thats how the Justice System works
