I'm sure someone can make a dedicated thread if they feel like it. It surely pertains to OSU baseball! I'm rooting for FSU myself. It'd be cool if the end of the story is "OSU takes out the best the SEC has to offer." what?! |

Florida State is ACC, but I don't mind beating teams from that conference, either! I do like the idea of playing everyone from this side of the bracket though.

FSU is in the ACC.
Which is cool, too. FSU won the ACC Tourney, LSU won the SEC Tourney. So we could have the opportunity to beat both champions, back to back.

Poor Florida State. I bet a lot of people get mixed up about what conference they're in, and I'm sure they actually rather would be in the SEC

They will always be undervalued being an ACC team instead of an SEC team. I'm far removed from southeastern rivalries over here, but I'm sure that's an important trash talk angle for SEC fans, especially since they've actually been pretty successful against the SEC in the modern era. IIRC it's been years since the last loss. Regardless, sometimes I feel like there is more of a rivalry between SEC and Florida St vs. SEC and other ACC teams. Especially in a sport like baseball where they (and LSU) have been in the postseason so frequently. Or is that my imagination? |

I think Jimbo is like 5-1 vs SEC teams. I believe FSU playing in the SEC would not fair well to them... then again they would be in the SEC lEAST
