Walker only threw two innings. He might be 100% ready by Saturday. If LSU rebounds, they present a much more formidable obstacle to the Championship Series, in my opinion. I am hoping that Florida State gets back to its first NCAA semifinal since 2012. (Arizona 10-Florida State 3, en route to the Wildcats' fourth national championship.)

Nothing official, but the article mentioned that Walker was "likely done" for the remainder of the CWS. I agree with you on LSU, they are a talented and dangerous team. I'm rooting for FSU for that reason, plus because I'd like us to beat every team in our bracket

Agree with the feel here - let's hope FSU can knock off LSU - the Tigers getting beaten like they did by the Beavs will only serve to inspire a "great" team (even if they are "great" only in their own minds). As Yogi Berra said "Baseball is ninety percent mental. The other half is physical."
Go Beavs!
