For the past year they have been driven to prove to themselves that they are worthy of going to Omaha and winning it all. They got mad last year when they were snubbed, and this year they are getting even. They have had a laser beam focus all season long, and that is not going to waiver tonight. Adversity may rear its ugly head, but they will stomp on it and kill it. This team is as solid as any I have ever seen. They can do it all.
I expect the Tigers to give us a run for our money. They are a worth opponent, and it is a shame they are not on the other side of the bracket because a OSU-LSU final would be epic. The road is rocky, but they will plow the field and the path will be clear. No fear, no retreat, no surrender.
This our time, this is our day, and Beaver Nation will be loud and proud. Wear orange, enjoy the moment, and GO BEAVS!

Agree wholeheartedly with all of it, Dave. This is the biggest game of the year against the toughest opponent we've seen all year. The two hottest teams in the country facing off, with both teams riding massive win streaks going into this one. It really is a shame that LSU is the 4 and not the 3, because we might just see this as a three-game set for all the marbles that way instead.
First game jitters are out of the way. Casey will have these guys ready today, and I'll take our A-game against anyone in the country, bar none. If either team doesn't leave it all out there, they likely lose. I don't think that will happen though.
Game day. Time to believe.
GO BEAVERS! BEAT THE TIGERS!
