Unfortunately, my career has placed me in SEC country for 13 years of my life to date, with jobs in Florida, Louisiana and Texas. As a lifetime Beaver fan and Pac-8/10/12 supporter, I’ve found myself surrounded by SEC fanatics more often than I like.
I write all that to say, the majority of SEC fans know their sports well and are very gracious in losing. I’ve experienced first-hand “Tiger Bait” chants before the game and graciousness after the game. Perhaps it is part of their Southern up-bringing?
After tonight’s game, I look forward to some gracious posts from the LSU fans…
