Can you get us all fired up with a motivational and optimistic post?
Pezcat did a great opening act for you. I'm getting nervous about tomorrow. Fullerton is a great team, but the Beavs Bears are a premier team. Still, a post from you always seems to settle my nerves this year.

Dave is coming down the freeway behind us a ways. Hopefully, he got off before the lightning, hail and flash flood hit Lincoln

We got caught in the severe thunderstorm. I was driving and had to pull over onto the shoulder, as did most of the other cars on the Interstate. Driving rain, howling wind, and hail. And lots of lightning. It passed and on we drove, to Lincoln. Outside Lincoln an 18 wheeler had been blow over onto its side. Probably one of the idiot truckers that drove past us as we were stopped.
Now for the words of inspiration:
We are strong, we are united, we are awesome, we are on a mission, we refuse to lose, we are Beaver Nation, and we will prevail! This team has proven time and again, that it is a mistake to ever count them out. They do not, and we must not. There is no single event or player absence that they have not overcome. There is no reason to believe that they will not fulfill their mission, which is to come home from Omaha with the ring on their finger and the trophy in their arms.
FAILURE IS NOT AN OPTION. ON TO VICTORY, MY BEAVER BROTHERS!

Not to distract from baseball or anything like that but it sounds like you all drove through the least of the weather compared to a bit earlier in the day because it looks like there were a few tornadoes near the interstate earlier in the afternoon. For me there would be nothing like the kind of weather that you just experienced to get me fired up for the World Series because if I can combine storm chasing with watching the Beavers go for the ring that would truly be the best of all worlds for me. Go beavs!

Go beavs! Eugene Dave got caught in the worst of the storm in our area. No tornados along our freeway. Other areas not so lucky.

Go beavs! I thought it was fun! Hail coming at about 100 mph sideways had me worried about our rented minivan though. Sandy and Roy were hitting on the R and R in the back seat.....LOL.

Yeah, and they wouldn't let me have any. Who needed it more than the driver? Mean and cruel, that's what they are. Roy kept saying "it will all blow over" and I know I heard Sandy say "Oh $hit" at least once.

I love the Oregon Trail-style weather on the reverse Oregon Trail.
