sucks but we have replacements. Jones has impressed me all year. Yeah -- figure we'll see Cary start in CF and Kwan in RF now which makes us much better defensively. Donahue is marginally better than Cary this season at the plate but I don't think it drastically alters our approach or lineup. A hit to depth/versatility but I'm pretty confident in the ability of Cary and Jones to cover for Donahue. Very stupid mistake and one that I'm sure Christian will regret. |

Don't forget Andy Atwood too who has solid glove and decent bat too...dumb, but we'll be fine

Looks like he beat Moran to this one. Which is weird because apparently Moran is in Omaha (so much for my "he is doing all his beat reporting from PDX now" theory). He tweeted earlier that Larnach his a bomb in BP to CF. |

I actually heard a rumor of this before reading all of this. I hope it is not true. I thought only weed smokers went to school down South? I know you're half kidding but i would bet that there are 11 teams in our league with kids who smoke weed. The rumor I heard yesterday afternoon was that a player got caught with weed. |

Looks like he beat Moran to this one. Which is weird because apparently Moran is in Omaha (so much for my "he is doing all his beat reporting from PDX now" theory). He tweeted earlier that Larnach his a bomb in BP to CF. He may be there, but won't be breaking any news that requires information from the team and/or coaching staff, would be my bet. |

Played JC football in '76 for the Clackamas Comm. College Cougars. 3/4 of our football team......maybe MORE.... (including moi) would never have taken the field, had smoking a little weed been tested for. Now, Christian KNEW he could/would be tested, so he was dumb, dumb, DUMB to partake. It's now LEGAL in this state (over 21), and I seriously DOUBT it is a "performance enhancer." In fact we all KNOW it is not. Li'l Jeff Sessions would be DAMN PROUD!

Well, have to play it like we have two players injured going into the Series and of course it is next man up! Thankful that we have the deepest bench and pitching staff in the Series.
